U.H.E Group, through its CSR arm, the U.H.E Foundation, places immense value on enhancing the health, security, and overall well-being of the communities it serves. Recognizing the critical role that healthcare plays in community welfare, the U.H.E Foundation has been actively involved in supporting medical facilities and initiatives that aim to improve patient care and outcomes.

Badulla Emergency Treatment Unit (E.T.U), annually handles around 35,000 patients involved in accident cases. The E.T.U’s head, Dr. Palitha Rajapaksha, highlighted a critical issue affecting the recovery of accident victims: the unavailability of collar guards, leading to permanent disabilities in many patients due to spinal cord damage incurred during treatment. Responding to this urgent need, the U.H.E Foundation generously donated a substantial number of collar guards to the E.T.U.of Teaching Hospital at Badulla.
