In a heartwarming display of sportsmanship and community engagement, a team of four enthusiastic members from the Ceylon Cricket Foundation, based in the United Kingdom, embarked on a journey to Ella, to ignite a passion for cricket and football among the school children in this serene part of the world. Understanding the universal language of sports, the team set out to conduct a series of coaching sessions tailored specifically for the students of selected schools in Ella and its neighboring regions. These sessions were carefully designed to strike a perfect balance between education and entertainment, ensuring that the children not only learned the fundamentals of cricket and football but also had a great deal of fun in the process

The activities were designed not just to tone the sporting skills of the children but also to instill in them values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
